ABOUT BELOVED BIEWER TERRIERS

My name is Brenda Lawson and "Beloved" is my Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) reserved kennel name. My husband and I live in Sandy Hook, Manitoba, Canada, which is one hour North of Winnipeg by the shores of Lake Winnipeg. I am a small home-based fancier of purebred Biewer Terriers, a breed that truly is my passion. Our Biewer Terriers are purebred dogs registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC). The Biewer Terrier became a CKC Listed Breed as of January 1, 2023. Listed breeds cannot be registered with the CKC until they reach full breed recognition. In the interim, our dogs have CKC Miscellaneous Certification Numbers (MCN) to participate in events.

I exhibit our dogs in Conformation, Companion, and Performance Events in Canada and the United States, and they have titles in Conformation, Rally Obedience, Trick Dog, Therapy Dog, Canine Good Neighbour, Canine Good Citizen, etc. But first and foremost, we raise our dogs to have amazing temperaments in alignment with the Biewer Terrier's purpose: To Love & Be Loved!

 

I am the Vice President of the Biewer Terrier Club of Canada, Inc., which is the official CKC National Breed Club. I am also a member in good standing of the Canadian Kennel Club, Biewer Terrier Club of America, and Canadian Association of Rally Obedience.
